Discover the charm of Cusco with our guided City Tour! This 5-hour tour will take you to the main monuments and historical sites of the city. Visit the majestic Cathedral, the sacred Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), and the impressive archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. The tour begins with a transfer from your hotel to the starting point. We offer two schedules: the morning tour starts around 08:30 am and ends at 2:00 pm, while the afternoon tour begins at 1:00 pm and concludes at 6:30 pm.

Our tour starts at the Cusco Cathedral, famous for its artwork and rich history. Next, we’ll visit Qoricancha, a sacred site dedicated to Incan deities, where you can admire the intricate stonework of the ancient Cusqueños. Afterward, we’ll head to Sacsayhuaman, known for its enormous and perfectly fitted megalithic stone walls. The tour also includes visits to Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay, finishing with a return to your hotel in Cusco.

Itinerary of the Economic City Tour in Cusco - 5 Hours

Begin your adventure with a transfer from your hotel to the starting point of the tour. We offer two schedules: the morning tour starts around 08:30 am and ends at 2:00 pm, while the afternoon tour begins at 1:00 pm and concludes at 6:30 pm.

The tour begins at the Cusco Cathedral, renowned for its fine wood carvings and impressive altars created by the Cusco School. Next, we’ll head to Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), an indigenous sanctuary dedicated to the Sun God and other deities. Here, you can admire the advanced stonework technology of the Incas, famous for its precision and durability.

Afterward, we’ll transfer to Sacsayhuaman, located 3 km from Cusco, where you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the city. This ancient fortress, built with enormous stone blocks, was the site of important festivities such as the Warachikuy and Inti Raymi.

We’ll continue to Qenqo, an archaeological site 1 km from Sacsayhuaman, known for its labyrinth of rocks and structures used for astronomical studies and rituals. Next, we’ll visit Puka Pukara or "red fortress," a strategic checkpoint that controlled access to the city.

We’ll end the tour at Tambomachay, known as the Inca baths, located 9 km from Cusco. This site, famous for its water fountains, is also called the "waters of eternal youth" due to its constant flow. After the tour, we’ll return you to your hotel in Cusco.
