Itinerary:

  • Early in the morning, we will pick you up in our vehicle and head towards Maras. During our journey, you will enjoy beautiful landscapes and typical populations that will brighten your day. First, we will visit the town of Maras from where you can appreciate the impressive Vilcanota mountain range and the snow-capped peaks of "El Chicón" and "La Verónica". This picturesque town holds attractions from pre-Columbian, colonial, and republican periods.

  • Then, we will head towards the Moray Archaeological Complex, located 7 km southwest of Maras. It is a set of huge terraces superimposed concentrically in a giant hole that served as a "Greenhouse Prototype" for crops in the Inca era.

  • Finally, we will visit the Salineras, located northwest of Maras. They consist of around 2,000 small wells with an average area of about 5 m², exploited since the Inca era and still used by local residents. After our visit, we will return to the city of Cusco.
